Artists House #2

This is the place where the ideas, concept and artworks are created. There are some artists who think that this is the most important in his life, and some even regard it as a "sacred" place. However the reason it became commonplace, because when the atmosphere is conducive then artists shall work and coming up with their ideas way better. When the exhibition schedule is accumulate, the studio is full of material stuffs such as papers, canvases, frames, and so on. When artists "be on vacation" then the studio was deserted and quiet. Arguably this is the artists office. so, Welcome to the studio.

Around Braga

One spot that I've always visit when I go back to Bandung is Jalan Braga. I always took time for a walk at the afternoon there. Starting from Jalan Cikapundung, some stamps makers are becoming a unique view. Then I walking towards the north until Jalan Braga signboard appear. This road has  historical value for the citizens. In the first 1920s, many Dutch businessman set up shop here. As for the boutique that takes a collection of Paris at the time. Some of Old Dutch East Indies architectural was still standing until now. Some of it has been modified. It's just a swap shop functions. One of the stores I've encountered was a cake shop "Sumber Hidangan". Their homemade ice cream is popular because it's tasty. Dutch language menu and "oldskool" atmosphere characterizes this store. I've also seen the "venue" of old motorbike club ini Bandung, it names "Brotherhood". The thing is this would be an inspiring place for me. 

The 5th Day in Bandung

Unfortunately I only have a quarter day to look for street art spots. I believe if the time that I have is more, I will get a lot of pictures. The journey begins from the Statue of Persib to the Homann Hotel, then go into Cikapundung and Braga Street until go back to the Statue. The road I took is a historic street in the city of Bandung. However Bandung recently is what is visible now. Some street art and graffiti community that I know are like "Stereoflow", which is still seen their artwork until now. "Ranger Bastard" who ever exhibited in Buton Road. Until now I've never heard their performances again. The others are such as Yellow Dino, "60", Shake, Kumkum, Astronautboys, Aikoboy, Pope, etc. I hope someday I can join them making some artwork around Bandung. 

The 3rd Day in Bandung

Crazy. that's what I feel when visiting places to eat in Bandung. It's paid off after I stopped at "Warung Talaga". The Menu are really reminds me of snacks when I was a child. The atmosphere is really nostalgic too. It is because the concept of "Warung Tradisional". it has similarity like Las Vegas. it represent the icon, the archaic sign. But nevertheless I enjoyed the atmosphere of it. While drifting into the past.. the time when I was a child.

The 2nd Day in Bandung

I am a bit surprised after all this time in Bandung just heard that there are "car free day" event. It starting from dago atas to cikapayang. That morning I went for a walk from the front of boromeus hospital upwards. Accidentally I met my friends Tomy and his fellas, was skateboarding at the Petronas Gas Station dago. I really enjoy the atmosphere at that moment. it was nice.

The 1st Day in Bandung

It's been a long time I didn't come to this place. I walked through the door and entered. so many visible changes. I take the opportunity to just take pictures and see the painting here and there. I remember that once I've painted here.

After the release of "Across the Universe" is now clear that The Beatles lyrics are perfectly suited to interpretation visionary surreal flavor.
it is the same in the two new videos produced by Pete Candeland Passion Pictures for the agency, which ideally traces the history and evolution of the Fab Four, from the beginnings in black and white in the basement of Liverpool to the colorful flowers and hussar jackets period of "Sgt Pepper's."
